| Singapore firm wins electronic-goverment deal in Turkey |

| Singapore(dpa) - A singapore based firm has secured a deal that will lay the groundwork for Turkey's participation in future pan-European electronic-goverment services, CrimsonLogic said Monday. |

| The 40.2-million-Singapore-dollar(23.7 million-US-dollar)project to build one of the world's largest e-goverment gateway is the IT-solution provider's largest win so far in Europe, The Business Times reported. |

| A turkish company, Oyak Technologies, will be a local partner. |

| "This win marks the conclusion of a keenly contested open tender which saw the particapation of many international firms and Turkish IT companies,"the newspaper quoted Leong Peng Kiong, CrimsonLogic's acting chief executive officer, as saying. |

| The project will serve a population of 70 million people and provide a single point of access to e-goverment services by about 30 agencies in Turkey |

| "The project will help transfrom Turkey's public administration into being more
citizen - and business-centric and facilitate Turkey's entry into the European Union,"Leong said. |

| The US Department of commerce has identified Turkey as one of the 10 most promising emerging economies, and the European Union recently agreed to open memberships talks with it. |
